Problem

Visitors needed to quickly understand the mission, impact, how their support helps, and a more obvious path to donate. Mobile readability was poor, and the overall structure made it hard to quickly grasp the KYCC's purpose.

Goals

Increase donations and reduce friction to give.

Clarify the mission, programs, and impact at a glance.

Improve mobile readability for all visitors.

Strengthen credibility through structure and clarity.

Challenges

01 — 05

Discovery

Setting the compass before the journey with the intent of defining goals into a clear, creative direction.

I identified key audiences (international donors and local supporters) and clarified the core goal: increase donations while making the mission and impact easy to understand quickly.

02 — 05

Direction

Mood, references, and visual language that translate abstract ideas into a coherent vision.

I shaped the tone around hope, strength and courage, and transparency—prioritizing warm human photography, bold but legible structure, and an honest, trustworthy visual feel.

03 — 05

Design

Key sections, layout systems, typography, and components, all clean, usable, and brand-aligned.

I designed a homepage flow that guides visitors from mission, impact, programs, and finally donate, with scannable sections, strong headings, and clear CTAs.

04 — 05

Build

Responsive, accessible implementation that brings the final experience to life.

I built a mobile-first layout with improved readability, responsive grids, and clear navigation so visitors can explore and donate smoothly on any device.

Launch + Iterate

Ship, measure, and refine, making improvements based on practicality and feedback.

Post-launch, we worked on creating monthly email marketing material and newsletters to attract more donations.
